Note R — Related Parties During the fiscal years 2019, 2018, and 2017, the Company purchased approximately $2.0 million, $0.5 million, and $0.6 million, respectively, of data processing equipment and software from EMC Corporation. The former Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of EMC Corporation is a member of the Company’s Board. During the fiscal years 2019, 2018, and 2017, the Company purchased approximately $3.1 million, $2.7 million, and $2.9 million, respectively, of office supplies from Staples, Inc. The former Vice Chairman of Staples, Inc. is a member of the Company’s Board. During the fiscal year 2019, the Company purchased through negotiated transactions approximately $1.6 million of computer consulting and advisory services from Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation. A board member of Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is a member of the Company’s Board.
