The Company had goodwill balances on its Consolidated Balance Sheets of $563.8 million and $540.3 million as of November 30, 2014 and May 31, 2014, respectively. The increase in goodwill was due to an immaterial business acquisition.

Amortization expense relating to intangible assets was $3.5 million and $7.3 million for the three and six months ended November 30, 2014, respectively, as compared with $3.8 million and $7.5 million for the three and six months ended November 30, 2013.
