ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Paychex, Inc. has been named to The World’s Most Ethical Companies list by The Ethisphere Institute, a leading international organization dedicated to the creation, advancement, and sharing of best practices in business ethics, governance, anti-corruption, and sustainability. This marks the fifth time Paychex, a leading provider of payroll, human resource, and benefits outsourcing solutions for America’s small- and medium-sized businesses, has received this recognition, which highlights companies that outperform industry peers when it comes to ethical behavior.

The methodology for the WME Companies includes reviewing codes of ethics, litigation and regulatory infraction histories; evaluating the investment in innovation and sustainable business practices; looking at activities designed to improve corporate citizenship; and studying nominations from senior executives, industry peers, suppliers, and customers.
