Paychex to Mark National Small Business Week with New Online Resource Kit for Small Business Owners
ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- More than ever, small business owners face an increasingly complex range of compliance, business planning, and human resource issues. To help current small business owners and potential entrepreneurs further their understanding of the needs and requirements considerations that go into running a successful company, Paychex will launch an online resource kit, www.paychex.com/small-business-week, during National Small Business Week, May 16-20.
The website will feature a small business resource kit of articles and tools from Paychex as well as links to online resources from the U.S. Small Business Administration. A small business owners' guide serves as the centerpiece of the kit. Each day of National Small Business Week the site will focus on a different topic related to running a small business.
The small business resource kit provides in-depth information about how to create a business plan, including templates for writing a business plan and an overview of elements of a good business plan. A second section looks at options for financing a small business and features a business loan application checklist. How to create an effective employee handbook and a guide to payroll processing are among the subjects covered under the category of Compliance, Regulations, and Risk Management. A section on securing success through insurance planning provides a summary of the types of insurance available to small business owners, as well as information on health care reform. The final section focuses on finding and retaining the right employees.
"The new small business resource kit is designed to make it easy and convenient for small business owners to access information and tools they need to start and grow their company," said Martin Mucci, Paychex president and CEO. "Paychex is proud to support small business and partner with entrepreneurs to make their businesses a success."
Since 1963, National Small Business Week has recognized the contributions of millions of small business owners in America, and their role in the economy and driving innovation. For more information, visit: http://www.nationalsmallbusinessweek.com/.
